Position Description

This is an opportunity for an experienced Salesperson who is currently engaged in the motion control, instrumentation, industrial products, and complete analytical systems. You will continue to be engaged in the dynamics of the ever-changing world of the industrial marketplace. IA serves multiple Market Sectors including Oil & Gas, Chemical, Petrochemical, Refining, Power Generation, Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical, Marine, Steel Mills, Renewable Energy, and additional OEM corporations.

Our professional and knowledgeable IA Team will be engaged through your On-Boarding process and provide thorough overviews on Customers & Prospects, Supplier product line applications and comprehensive systems training on our Sales process. This will streamline your integration into the IA Team, and you will find yourself constantly being challenged and growing in knowledge.

This position requires individuals who are motivated by assisting Customers and building and growing relationships. At the same time, find yourself gaining new knowledge and understanding of products and services in the industrial marketplace. Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year College or University.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of successful Outside Sales, Key Account, Business Development experience in the Industrial or MRO marketplace calling on large and mid-market Accounts.
  • Experience selling to all levels of an Organization from their front-line Employees through their Management Teams.
  • Candidates must possess a high level of motivation, planning and negotiation skills.
  • Strong understanding of the products that supply the Industrial and MRO marketplace.
  • Candidates should have Customer relationships within their assigned Account base area.
  • Experience with closing Project/Program Agreements and VMI sales programs.
  • The ability to adhere to and fully support all company policies and procedures including all Sales and Marketing programs.
