Type SSF Thermostatic Steam Traps

Features of Design:
• Removal of the body cover procides easy access to the bimetal battery and valve seat.
• A cover permits quick and easy removal of the strainer. A plug in the strainer cover provides a connection for fitting a blow-down valve if required.
• Other optional extras include thermometer, temperature controller, strainer blow-down valve, flanged/socket weld/butt weld connections and Pipe King Package Unit.
• Can be installed vertically or horizontally.
• Automatic air venting.

Typical Applications:
For general industrial services in medium to high pressure/temperature appplications with high condensate discharge rates. Widely used in power, petroleum and chemical plants, marine serive and steel industries to meet safety requirements.

• SSF-125: Screwed 2 in (50mm) BSP, NPT or ASP, socket weld, butt weld or flanged BS, ASA or DIN
• SSF-200, SSF-400, SSF-600: Screwed 1 1/2 and 2 in (40mm and 50mm) BSP, NPT or API, socket weld, butt weld of flanged BS, ASA or DIN
