Type SF Thermostatic Steam Traps

Features of Design:
• All operating parts are contained within the hermetically sealed body.
• Factory set, but can be adjusted to suit plant requirements.
• All the internal operating parts are assembled as a cage unit which can be removed quickly and easily by releasing two screws.
• Replacement cage unit can be fitted without adjustment or checking.
• A cover enables quick and easy removal of the strainer and if required a 3/8 in NPT blow-down plug can be supplied as an extra.
• Other optional extras include temperature controller, thermometer, strainer blow-down valve and Pipe King Package Unit.
• Can be installed vertically or horizontally.
• Automatic air venting.

Typical Applications:
General industrial service including line drains, boiling pans, process vats, drum dryers, acid stills, fuel oil heaters where a fairly high condensate capacity is required and also for applications in the power, petro-chemical and marine industries to meet safety requirements for higher pressure/temperature service.

Connections:
• Screwed: 1/2 in, 3/4 in and 1 in. (15mm, 20mm and 25mm) BSP, NPT or API
• Flanged: 1/2, 3/4 & 1 in (15mm, 20mm & 25mm) BS, ASA or DIN
• Socket or Butt Weld: 1/2, 3/4 & 1 in (15mm, 20mm & 25mm)
